TAS International welcomes you to our website. We hope you find the information you are looking for. Please contact us if you have any questions. We can put you in touch with our trusted agents in your country.

We are a small school in lower Northland, just 30 minutes south of Whangarei or 2 hours north of Auckland. We are an Area School which means we have students from Years 1 to 13. We have very few internationals at any one time. Currently we have 1 exchange student, who is from South America.

We are known as an academic school and many families from our region choose us for that reason. Our results are some of the highest in the area. Performing Arts is an aspect of our school that attracts students. We even have a subject called Rural Studies where you learn practical skills like quad biking and the like.

We have a fantastic co-curricular programme with very interesting options like clay shooting, dance, choir, bands and the usual sports teams. Outdoor activities are also very important in the school and we have our own climbing ropes course and a lodge in the forest nearby. Northland is known for its’ strength in hockey.

Most of our families live on farms or lifestyle blocks, although some do come from the city of Whangarei too. Living in Northland means we have easy access to harbours (both coasts), beaches and also walks in forests. It is common to go fishing or sailing in summer. The Northland climate is sub tropical which means we have very mild winters and warm summers.
