One of the key stars at TAS is Year 13 student Angharad Yearbury Murphy.
Angharad has been involved in theatre and performance since a young age – certainly throughout her secondary schooling at TAS, Over the past few years, she has performed in: Jesus Christ Superstar (2018) ensemble role; How time flies (musical) in 2018; The Terrible Fate of Humpty Dumpty (play) in 2019 (and again in 2020 as lead female); Does your mother know that she’s dead (play) in 2019 as supporting actress; RENT (musical) in 2019 ensemble role; and Ladies in Black (musical) lead female in 2020.

Her talent is such that she has been selected to sing on the radio for the Raw Sessions.
If that isn’t enough,Angarad also loves a challenge, and thrives on Shakespeare – both as a performer, and Director. Attached are 3 photos of Angharad in action on stage – the two pink tinted photos are from Ladies in Black and the 3rd photo is from her Sheila Winn Shakespeare Festival piece from earlier this year – the Northland winning Shakespeare piece Coriolanus in which she not only starred, but also directed; in last year’s piece Romeo and Juliet, she played Romeo.
